Pre Exams problems

Hi Class!

I believe while reading this, you have either finished your exams or studying for it.
I just want to say that so far you guys have been very attentive in class but with regards to homework; you need to do it.

I want to share this story i just read recently and i know it will inspire you.

There is a young girl named Jessica Cox. She like every other young girl was excited about life and wanted to do much in her life. Her only problem was
that............................................................................................. she has no arms!

Now at the age of 25 she has a driving licence, a pilot licence and she can self managed by putting on her own make up and could even write!

I have attached some pictures

The morale of the story is a 3 letter word:
A.D.D
Attitude Determines Destiny
It all comes down to what is your attitude is. If you study hard and makes an effort to ask your teachers questions that you do not understands or even takes extra effort to read more books.
For Jessica, i believe she has a great attitude towards life and never gave up. Thats why she has accomplished so many things despite her inabilities.
I believe like her, you will do well if you make an effort to learn things that you do not understand. Well there are also students that do not want to bother about their work at all.
For some talented ones they might do well now but when they reach University, it will be too late to start studying hard because they have lost so much precious time.
Ok all the best and i hope this story has encouraged you guys!

Swine Flu awareness

Hi everyone!!!!

Today, i want to tell you about something that we have heard and currently the hottest topic in town; Swine Flu.

Now we know that it is a virus but the question i want you to ask yourself is that " What is swine flu exactly?" As the say saying goes knowledge is power so here are some added info for you!

Symptoms of swine flu are like regular flu symptoms:

Cough
Fever
Sore throat
Body aches
Headache
Chills
Fatigue

Cases where people reported diarrhea and vomiting.

Important information:

How it spreads
The virus spreads the same way a typical seasonal flu does, via coughs, sneezes (within a few feet) or touching something with the flu virus on it and then touching their mouth, nose or eyes. An infected person can pass it on before they even develop symptoms. The incubation period for most flu viruses is 3 to 5 days, and the period for swine flu is disputed, and has been reported as anywhere from 1-5 days.
There is no evidence yet that this year’s seasonal flu vaccine will protect against the swine flu.
You cannot get swine flu from eating pork products

What to do?

If you believe have flu symptoms, stay home. When you cough or sneeze, cover your mouth and nose with a tissue. Throw out used tissues and wash your hands. If you’ve got flu symptoms and you’ve recently been to a high-risk area such as Mexico see your doctor.

Your doctor may not be able to determine whether you have swine flu, but he or she would take a sample from you and send it to a state health department lab for testing. Your doctor may write you a prescription for Tamiflu or Relenza, but neither is required, as Swine Flu patients
have recovered without medication.

Ok the above are just information about swine flu but there is nothing to panic about just be cautious(careful)

Thank you
